A second hydropower plant full re-tech

The company Hidrolectrica has finished the full re-tech of the second hydropower plant on the Lower Olt river, CHE Drăgăneşti.
The hydropower is equipped with four hydro-power plants and has 57 MW total installed capacity, equivalent to 14.25 MW installed capacity each group. Hydropower development on the Lower Olt is composed of five hydroelectric plants, as follows: Ipoteşti, Drăgăneşti, Frunzaru, Ruşăneşti and Izbiceni.
As a subcontractor of Voith-Siemens and VaTech Andritz consortium, CS România made the control-command and automation systems of the four hydropower, which have passed a comprehensive 72 hours operation test.
