CS ROMANIA’s great success on the auction for "AHE Cândeşti - Verneşti"

CS ROMÂNIA SA has won the auction for the project of remote control and surveillance for the S.H. Buzău branch of company Hidroelectrica S.A.

Following a rigorous selection of tenders, the company S.C. Hidroelectrica S.A. declared CS ROMÂNIA SA, together with S.C. Energomontaj S.A. Bucureşti, as winners of the auction held for investment works "AHE Cândeşti - Verneşti".

The work consisted of four main components:

Dispatching center - Optimization and remote control

CHE Cândeşti - remote control of power plant processes

CHE Verneşti - remote control of power plant processes

CHE Simileasca - remote control of power plant processes

The information system is based on a SCADA solution - RexSys - using a SCADA VideoWall projection system, Cisco routers and data-voice systems, hardware equipment being provided by Energomontaj S.A. Bucureşti.

Software development life cycle of computer system operative management will be based on the principles of "V" model development cycle for IT projects: analysis of requirements, functional specifications, preliminary design, detail design, coding, unit tests and integration, validation and commissioning. The client will participate in the specification and validation phases and will approve their results. Operators will be trained on a simulator of SCADA application.
