Successful opening of Electronic Free-Flow Tolling on Golden Ears Bridge (Vancouver)

With the opening of the free-flow tolling system (without barriers) for revenue collection in Vancouver (Canada) on July 16, 2009, group CS, the only integrator of these types of systems in France, once more demonstrates its know-how and technological leadership in the field of intelligent transport systems.
The Golden Ears Bridge connects two growing residential and industrial zones. Equipped with a free-flow tolling system that uses either a vehicle’s transponder or its license plate number (video tolling) to charge for payment, it provides a significant reduction in transit time to the travelling public.
CS Romania, as subcontractor, has made contribution to a fully integrated back office system which include: customer website, customer service center, invoicing, payments and financial processing, reporting.
